Simple Operation Reduces Pipetting Errors
The concept behind the Matrix Memowell is simple: an LED light is illuminated under specific wells, rows or columns of a microplate to keep track of specific areas of a plate when filling or to indicate wells that need to be aspirated. To advance the light(s) to the next well, row, etc. simply press a button on the unit, or use the optional footswitch for hands-free operation.

On-Board Programming
Six pre-programmed sequences are shipped with the Matrix Memowell and six more can be programmed and saved on-board.
|
Stand-Alone or Software-Controlled
The Matrix Memowell works manually or with the available MemoControl software for even greater tracking capabilities. (See below for more information.) Multiple Matrix Memowell units can be linked together to keep track of plate-to-plate transfers.

MemoControl Software
Used in conjunction with a Windows® PC and plate reader, this Microsoft® Excel plug-in software allows you to program the Matrix Memowell to illuminate rows, columns or individual wells based on user-defined plate readings. MemoControl Software also allows you to manipulate reader data in Excel before using the Matrix Memowell. The LED display can then be programmed to indicate all wells containing hits with a light that is on, off or blinking.

384 Support
Using MemoControl Software, a set of four wells in a 384-well microplate can be illuminated. The image on the PC screen will then indicate which of the four wells is the desired target.
